IS SPACE TOURISM WORTH SPENDING MILLION DOLLARS?

Why do Elon Musk, Richard Branson, and Jeff Bezos spend millions on space travel? Is it really worth it?

Hearing about space tourism, your reaction might be the same, but these crazy people have already started their businesses.

SpaceX is a private space company owned by Elon musk, it has achieved many milestone jobs in recent years. Their aim is to create a reusable rocket with the minimum usage of fuel. Richard Branson is currently working on space travel tourism in his company virgin galactic. Blue Origin is a company owned by Jeff Bezos.

Well, you must be thinking that why are these people even thinking of tourism when most of the people cannot be able to pay for it but you are wrong, these people actually plan the different strategies and think on the other level.

Unfortunately, their targeted passengers are not you, like a common person or even an average rich man,

Nope they aim for the top billionaires in the world, now you might say, there aren’t many billionaires out there, well it is wrong, there are over 2,668 billionaires in the world, and they are what this market is aiming for.

You and I will still have to stick to the national parks and amusement parks!

What is this fad for space tourism?

American millionaire Dennis Tito was the first space tourist, who in 2001, paid $20 million to ride on a Russian Soyuz spacecraft to visit the international space station and spent eight days there. Just seven other private citizens traveled to space until 2009. Less than 600 astronauts and global citizens have gone into space so far.

Blue Origin company has already done a commercial flight this year including an old lady and a young boy who are not in this field who paid for the travel with other pilots and Jeff Bezos himself.

Elon musk claims to colonize mars in about 2024. His rockets work wonderfully you can search about them to know more.

So to go on a space flight the ticket would cost you around $450,000. This is the cost of orbital tourism, meaning that you will only be in anti-gravity space revolving around the earth for 9 minutes. you will experience weightlessness for that period.

All these people working in this space industry are of the opinion that we must get out, to search for the resources in the solar system and go there and settle in a suitable environment, so that even if any disaster takes place here on earth then we can evacuate to another safer place like earth and won’t get extinct like the dinosaurs, right!

We must survive every situation and I personally think it’s great to have a silly plan for now instead of not having any plan, even if no one believes it.

A few reasons that earth would not be a safer place for humans are in the future:

1) As we all have seen in India temperature raised like 4-5 degrees Celsius in some areas this year in summer. and in coming years this will go even hotter. The reason is “WE HUMANS!” “GLOBAL WARMING! ”

2) In the coming years as per predicted by scientists 20% of the present ice will melt, due to which coastal areas would wash away and the water level will rise.

3) Asteroid attacks may happen anytime in the coming 20 years. That would wash away all the humans depending on their size.

The list will go on, also add more if you know them…

Well, you would never want your children or your grandchildren or your great-grandchildren to face all the disasters and suffer a hard life on earth just because of our mistakes. Also, we must of course try to solve every climate issue as soon as possible because that’s the best thing we can do right!

COMMENT DOWN WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT THE SPACE TRAVEL AND THE PEOPLE WORKING ON IT!
